LEGAL NOTICE
Who you are buying from.
A trader established in Ireland and selling online has to publish who it is, where it is, and how to reach it. This page does that. Anything not yet registered is marked as gaps rather than filled in with something plausible.
01 · THE TRADER
The identity behind this site.
Every row is required by a named rule, printed beside it.
02 · HOW TO REACH US
Email, and no telephone number.
Four addresses, and all four reach the same person.
- hello@binselytics.com for anything at all, including a complaint.
- support@binselytics.com for help with the software, a licence that will not activate, or a computer that has gone before it could be released.
- privacy@binselytics.com for anything about personal data, including a request to see or delete what we hold.
- corrections@binselytics.com if a claim on this site is wrong. Corrections are made and dated.
There is no telephone number. There is no line to answer it. The same people write the software and reads the email, and a number that rang out would be worse than none at all. The law asks for the means of contact a trader has, and for an email address that allows rapid and effective contact; it does not require a telephone line to exist. If one ever does, it appears on this page.
The stated response window, and the three things people most often write in about, are on the support page.
03 · MARKETING EMAIL
There is no mailing list.
Nothing here asks for your email address.
This site has no newsletter, no signup form, no gated download and no box anywhere that asks for an email address. Nothing you do here puts you on a list, because there is no list.
If you buy, you get the receipt and the VAT invoice from the payment provider, and the email that carries your licence. Those are part of the sale, not marketing. We will not use an address given for support, for a licence or for a purchase to send you anything else.
If a mailing list is ever added, it will be opt-in, the way to opt out will be printed at the form itself as well as in every message, and this paragraph will change on the day it happens.
04 · COMPLAINTS, AND WHO REGULATES THIS
Where to go if we do not sort it out.
Start with an email. Then, if it comes to it, one of these.
Write to hello@binselytics.com first. Say what happened and what you want done. You will get a reply from the person who wrote the software, because there is no queue to be put in. How a complaint is handled, and what we do if we cannot fix it, is set out in the terms of sale.
The competent authority for the Irish e-commerce rules that this page exists to satisfy, and for consumer protection generally, is the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission: www.ccpc.ie. A consumer in another EU or EEA country can also go to the European Consumer Centre network, whose Irish office is at www.eccireland.ie.
We are not a member of any alternative dispute resolution scheme. Nobody is obliged to be, and saying so plainly is more use to you than a vague sentence implying that some scheme somewhere is available.
There is no link here to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform. That platform stopped taking complaints in March 2025 and closed permanently on 20 July 2025, and traders were told to remove every reference to it. Most free terms templates still print the paragraph and the dead link. This one does not.
05 · THE REST OF THE LEGAL SET
Four other pages, and what each one is for.
Five pages make up the set, counting this one.
- Terms of sale. What is sold, the price and the tax, the yearly renewal and how to stop it, the fourteen-day cancellation right, and how a complaint is handled. This is the purchase.
- Licence agreement. What you may do with the software, how machines and activation work, what happens when a licence year ends, and what stays yours. This is the use.
- Privacy notice. What is done with personal data, split by activity: this website, the support mailbox, the purchase and licence activation.
- Accessibility statement. What works, what does not, and what has not been tested. Voluntary, and honest about being voluntary.
All four are plain HTML. They can be saved, printed and read without scripting, which is what the law means when it asks that terms be given in a form you can store and reproduce.
ABOUT THIS PAGE
This page was written in plain English by the person who wrote the software. It is not legal advice, and it is not a solicitor's work. The legal notice, the terms of sale, the licence agreement, the privacy notice and the accessibility statement are all pending review by an Irish solicitor, and that review has to be finished before the first sale. If the review changes any of them, the changed page is republished and the date at the top of it changes with it.
